These brackets along with the mounting hardware from your rtt enable you to easily and securely clamp your roof top tent onto our planks. They are designed to be mounted on two normal cross bars not directly on the roof of the car such as ones from front runner rhino rack thule or any other after market cross bars same bars you would attach your bike or kayak to. To use your roof top tent especially the bigger ones such as the 4 person roof top tents or the ikamper skycamp it s ideal to have a bed rack that s as tall as the roof of your truck a hi lift bed mount or even truck caps with then a roof rack on top of them.

Our fixed mounting point trackmounts backbones and gutter mount systems can all handle the load rating of a roof top tent. Thanks to our universal mounting system ikamper rooftop tents fit on most vehicles. The mounting extrusions need to be cut off at both ends up to the second pre drilled hole prior to being fitted to the base of the rooftop tent.
