How to stop inaccurate readings on the monitor panel.
Rv tank monitor panel not working.
Fill the rv black tank up to just over one half full.
The other day i was out looking things over and i tried the monitor panel the one that tells how full your tanks are and your battery condition well nothing lit up.
Unfortunately even after driving a lengthy distance which allows most of the solids to break down toilet paper will still stick to the sensors.
This is probably not a fuse issue since the lights are actually working sounds more like a monitor panel issue since all four indicators are showing full.
The lights all work the slid out moves in and out the furnace turns on so i know the electrical is working but nothing on the monitor.
Sometimes you will get a false reading due to contamination in the tank arching across the probes but that is usually just one or two tanks and almost never the fresh water tank.
If your toilet is designed so that you cannot see into it you will have to find out the size of your rv s black holding tank from the literature that came with your rv and use a 5 gallon water jug to measure the amount going into the holding tank.
That is a basics of the correct operation of a holding tank sensor so what about sensors that read incorrectly.
You will have to look into the toilet to see the level.
The monitor panel provides the hot when you depress any of the test buttons and if they are grounded the corresponding indictor lights illuminate if not grounded no lights.
Tank level gauges not working permalink i have a 87 shasta road master rv and the fresh grey and black water level gauges are not working the rvs generator has two batteries that hook up to it and at this time i don t have batteries for it but at the time of checking the gauges it was plugged in the lights and plugs woeked but no gauges.
